2018 Annual Researchers’ Forum

  • Start Date: September 28, 2018
  • End Date: September 28, 2018
  • Time: 9am
  • City: Nakusp, BC
  • Venue: Old Fire Hall
  • Deadline to submit a presentation or poster abstract or field trip idea is September 4!

Every year CMI members get together to provide updates on their projects such as local research, field trials, new initiatives in southeastern British Columbia, etc. This event ‘travels’ around the Columbia Mountains area to small communities to give us a chance to catch up on each others’ news. It’s an informal atmosphere and non-CMI members are encouraged to join us!

This year’s Researchers’ Forum will be in Nakusp on Friday, Sept 28.

Call for presentations and field trips – closes September 4, 2018

We invite you to offer a presentation or a field trip. We’ll have lots of room for posters. If you would like to make a 15-20 minute presentation, or want to bring a poster or display about your project or new initiative, send your abstract to the CMI office. Please read our submission guidelines. Information that is advocacy-oriented will not be accepted.

If you are willing to lead a field trip in the Nakusp area, please send a short description and note how many people you can accommodate – use our submission guidelines for “Offering a field trip” to assist you. Participants will need to provide their own transportation, and car-pooling will be encouraged.

Please send submissions to office@cmiae.org

Registration is $40 + tax and includes a day of presentations and field trips, refreshments, and lunch.
