Meet Harry van Oort, our new Director!

Harry lives in Revelstoke and works as a wildlife biologist throughout the Columbia Mountains. Prior to 2009, Harry became intimately familiar with the “Big Bend” country north of Revelstoke, while working on the caribou project initiated by Dr. Bruce McLellan, one of the early founding members of CMI. To the south one of his favourite projects has been attempting to mitigate reservoir impacts on loons at the Whatshan Reservoir.
