The CMI Annual General Meeting

We recently came together to reflect on an extraordinary year and we’d love for you to be part of it. The 2025 Annual Report is now available on the CMI website, and it’s truly worth a read.

This year marked a major milestone: 30 years of CMI as a registered non-profit Society. To celebrate our Pearl anniversary, we returned to Revelstoke where it all began, joined by founding members who reflected on three decades of ecological research and stewardship in the Columbia Mountains. It was a momentous and deeply meaningful occasion.

While the year was not without its challenges, we are proud of what we accomplished together. In 2025, CMI delivered 10 training courses and workshops, engaged 150 participants, and continued to grow our vibrant member community, now home to 3,150+ subscribers and 31 group members representing nearly 500 individuals.

None of this would be possible without the incredible people behind CMI. We are deeply grateful to our current and past Executive Directors, Hailey Ross and Jackie Morris, our dedicated Board of Directors, and our generous sponsors, partners, and supporters who make this work possible year after year.

CMI continues to build capacity, foster connection, and support applied ecology across the Columbia Mountains and the best is still to come.
